This is a c. 1920 Tampa Board of Trade map of Hillsborough County, Florida. Tampa, situated at the top of Hillsborough Bay, is shaded. The rest of the county is divided into the township grid with all sections numbered. A key appears on the verso, along with an index of agricultural texts published by the State of Florida.
Publication History and Census
This map was published and distributed by the Tampa Board of Trade. It was originally published as part of The Florida Grower's Atlas of Florida. This is the only known example of the present edition, with the Florida Grower's imprint. A different edition, lacking the imprint and with different typography, is part of the Touchton Map Library at the Tampa Bay History Center. Note the Touchton Library also has several maps of other Florida counties bearing the 'Florida Grower's' imprint, all of which are bear a c. 1914 date.
