Description

This is a comical 1976 Robert G. Carawan pictorial map of Key West, Florida. Streets are illustrated and labeled throughout the city and buildings all across the island are illustrated in profile. Both the Hemingway House and the Audubon House are named, as are the Little White House (where presidents from William Howard Taft through John F. Kennedy spent time, but President Truman spent the most time - 175 days), Fort Taylor, and the Southernmost Point in the continental United States. The Days Inn and Travelodge, and Ramada Inn are identified as well, along with numerous restaurants, shops, and the Lighthouse Museum. Several Conch Train Tours appear throughout the town, an attraction that visitors to Key West can still enjoy.
