Oriented towards the northeast, this view covers Oregon, Washington, and British Columbia, with portions of neighboring states. The Rocky Mountains, as far north as Banff and Jasper National Parks, provide a backdrop. Cities and towns are illustrated throughout, from metropolises like Seattle and Vancouver down to picturesque coastal towns and lighthouses. Landmarks such as dams, sports stadiums, and national parks are illustrated and labeled. Mountains are beautifully rendered, with their elevations noted.

Publication History and Census

This view was produced and published by the firm Unique Media in 1995, the first of several editions, which were updated regularly until 2008. Ten institutions hold various editions of the view in the OCLC, though only the Library of Congress notes this first edition.
