A delightful discovery, this is a c. 1958 Florida Souvenir Sticker Corporation luggage sticker map of Florida. This sticker is among the earliest luggage stickers to use a peel-off adhesive backing.
A Closer Look
The state of Florida is highlighted in red on a yellow background. Twenty-five tourist attractions from Wakulla Springs (just south of Tallahassee) to the Miami Serpentarium are identified. Other sites highlighted are the Parrot Jungle, the Ringling Brothers Museums, the Bok Singing Tower, and Silver Springs. The Florida Attractions Association emblem is prominently illustrated at bottom center.
The Florida Attractions Association
The Florida Attractions Association (1949 - Present) is a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to guaranteeing quality, fair pricing, and ethical operational practices throughout Florida's tourist industry. Founded by several Florida attractions, including Cypress Gardens, Monkey Jungle, Parrot Jungle, and Silver Springs, today the Florida Attractions Association numbers over 120 members that range from major theme parks to zoos and aquariums, sightseeing tours, museums, and historical landmarks. Membership in the Association is prestigious, and member organizations commit to a Code of Practices that ensures hospitality, courtesy, integrity, and cleanliness.

This luggage sticker map was designed and manufactured by the Florida Souvenir Sticker Corporation c. 1958. This is the only known cataloged example.

Very good. Toning and 'bleed-through' common with early stickers.
