Along the way, the highway passes through Chattanooga in Tennessee, Dalton, Atlanta, Macon, Valdosta, Lake City, High Springs, and Tampa. Illustrated connecting highways include Route 7 from Barnesville to Perry, with a text box noting that this shortcut saves 11 miles.

Information concerning the route from Fort Myers, Florida, to Griffon, Georgia, fills the verso with a chart providing mileage in both directions. Short descriptions of the cities between Griffon and Fort Myers are included as well.
