This is a c. 1960 Romanian tourism office pictorial hunting map of Romania in German. The map was intended to invite East German hunters to Romania, providing practical information, illustrations of game, and enticing photographs of successful excursions.

Depicting the entirety of Romania, pictorial icons highlight numerous species hunters could pursue during their excursion in Romania. These include bears, boars, deer, pheasants, lynx, chamois, and many different migratory birds. Major cities are labeled in cursive. Practical information concerning a hunting trip to Romania is provided on the verso, along with information about the different animals that live there and the terrain one might encounter.
