Larry Carl Janoff (1940 - September 23, 2022) was an American painter, sculptor, cartoonist, children's book writer, and illustrator active in Bigfork, Montana. He is best known for his military aviation paintings, two of which are at the Smithsonian. In 1976, in partnership with Nicklas Aquila Jr., he produced a map of J. R. R. Tolkien's Middle Earth.
