Walter Howard Knapp (November 2, 1907 - September 21, 1966) was an American commercial artist, illustrator, graphic artist, painter, and art educator. Born in Cleveland, Ohio, Knapp attended Oberlin College and the Cleveland School of Art. He taught art at Stetson University. He and his family moved to DeLand, Florida, in 1960, where he taught art for Volusia County. Knapp married Kate L. Superman on September 22, 1936.
