Nicolas Picart (fl. 1640-1660) was a French engraver active in Paris in the middle of the seventeenth century. Nothing is known of his early life or training. In addition to a quartet of continental maps after Hondius, (1644) he published editions of Boisseau'sTrésor des cartes géographiques between 1651 and 1662.
