Raymond Philip Winters (1892 - 1939) was a commercial artist based in Los Angeles. Born in Denver, Winters moved to Los Angeles in 1915 and began working independently as a commercial artist. Much of his work appeared in The Graphic and Touring Topics (later Westways), periodicals emblematic of the 'Booster' movement that promoted southern California as a paradisial land of sunshine and comfort.
