Emmanuel Wyttenbach (1842 - 19??) was a Swiss-American illustrator active in the late 19th century. Wyttenbach was born in Switzerland and emigrated to the United States in 1871, settling in California. He was naturalized in San Francisco in 1880. Wyttenbach worked as a draughtsman with various lithographic firms in San Francisco and later Los Angeles but is best known for his work published in the 1880s by H. S. Crocker Company. It is unclear when he died. Most biographies suggest he died in 1903, but we see a listing for a 'designer' by this name in San Francisco directories as late as 1915.
