George Joos (c. 1841 - 1917), sometimes as Jeorge Joos, was a lithographer, photolithographer, zincographer, and 'photo-zinc etcher' active in San Francisco at the turn of the 20th century. Little is known about his life aside from his being born in Germany, and all his surviving works date to the period 1889 - 1892, though he continued to be listed as a lithographer in city directories until 1905. In 1906 or 1907, he relocated to Oakland, where he continued work as a lithographer, at least for a time. His works often appeared in newspapers and periodicals.
