Joseph Vinel Massaloup (April 24, 1809 - 18??) was a German engineer. He was born in Magdeburg, Germany, and by 1847 was working as an engineer in Bucharest, Romania, which was under Russian administration at the time. He worked with the German publisher F. A. Brockhaus and published works on engineering and at least one map of Romania, which first appeared in 1875. A second map was published in 1881 by August Gorjean, possibly after Massaloup's death. Very little is known about his personal life and education.
