Abraham I. Slack (November 21, 1822 - October 18, 1902) was an American farmer, laborer, and butcher (among other professions), who fought in the American Civil War. Born in New Jersey, Slack enlisted in the Union Army on September 4, 1864, at forty-two years old for one year at Trenton, New Jersey. He served in Company I, 38th Regiment, New Jersey Infantry. He married Sarah Pyatt on October 3, 1846.
