The Record Company (October 21, 1894 - Present) was a daily newspaper based out of St. Augustine. The Company was founded in 1894 by Charles F. Hopkins. During World War I (1914 - 1918), much like other newspapers across the country, The Record would have likely contributed to campaigns such as the United War Work Campaign by promoting war bonds, local fundraising efforts, and updates on Florida’s soldiers. It remains active as the St. Augustine Record.
